The full review
The Brooklinen Luxe Core Sheet Set brings a hotel-caliber sleep experience into the everyday bedroom, built from a 480-thread-count long-staple cotton sateen weave that feels noticeably heavier and silkier than standard sheets. This is the brand's more indulgent tier, sitting above their classic Classic Core line, offering a smooth, lustrous hand-feel that drapes beautifully over a mattress while still breathing well enough for warm sleepers. The sateen weave gives the fabric a subtle sheen and a buttery softness right out of the package, and unlike many luxury sheets that require dozens of washes to feel broken in, these are designed to feel plush from the very first night.
Each set includes a fitted sheet with deep pockets that accommodate mattresses up to 15 inches, a flat sheet with clean hemmed edges, and pillowcases finished with a tailored envelope closure that keeps pillows tucked neatly inside without needing extra buttons or ties. Brooklinen offers the Luxe Core set in a range of sizes from Twin XL through Cal King, and in a rotating selection of colors and prints, from timeless solid neutrals like white, black, and taupe to seasonal patterns and stripes, so the set can match a minimalist bedroom or add a layer of personality to the space. The long-staple cotton fibers are chosen specifically for durability, meaning the sheets are engineered to resist pilling and thinning even after repeated laundering, a common complaint with cheaper sateen alternatives.
As a cornerstone of Brooklinen's sleep and relaxation lineup, the Luxe Core Sheet Set is positioned for people who view bedding as an investment in nightly recovery rather than just a functional necessity, pairing the tactile comfort of a fine hotel stay with practical, machine-washable ease. The weight and drape of the sateen also make it a natural complement to the brand's down comforters and pillows, rounding out a cohesive sleep system. Whether purchased as a refresh for a tired bedroom or as part of a full bedding overhaul, this set delivers a smooth, cool-to-the-touch surface that encourages a slower wind-down and a more restful night, reflecting Brooklinen's broader promise of accessible luxury for better sleep.

What owners say
I've tried several luxury sheet brands and these are by far the softest. The sateen weave has a beautiful subtle sheen and after several washes they only get softer.
The material quality is excellent and the fitted sheet fits my 14-inch mattress perfectly. Only downside is they trap a bit more heat than I expected in summer.
These sheets transformed my bedroom. The color I chose looks even better in person and the fabric feels substantial, not flimsy like cheaper sateen sheets.
Comfort-wise these are fantastic, but I do have to iron or steam them occasionally since the sateen weave shows wrinkles more than my old percale set.
